Terms of Service
Middle Tennessee Tres Dias. Effective October 21, 2026. Last updated October 21, 2026.
A short summary
These terms cover the member portal run by Middle Tennessee Tres Dias ("MTTD," "we," "us") at https://app.mttd.org. The portal is for our community: weekend teams, candidates, files, sign-ups, and messages. By creating a login or using the portal, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Who these terms cover
These terms are between you and Middle Tennessee Tres Dias. The portal is a tool for members, candidates, sponsors, and leaders of this ministry community. It is not a public social network.
Accounts
A login is created only when the email already belongs to an active member record. You can sign in with email and a password, and, when those buttons are turned on, with Google, Facebook, or X. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens through your login.
You may link or unlink Google, Facebook, or X from My Profile. At least one sign-in method has to stay on the account. Unlinking a provider does not delete your member record. Deletion is described in the Privacy Policy under Data deletion.
We may turn off a login that is unused, that no longer matches an active member, or that is being used in a way these terms do not allow. An administrator can deactivate a member record. Tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
Using the portal
Use the portal for the community's work. In particular:
- Give accurate information, and correct it when it changes.
- Enter someone else's information only when you are sponsoring them or leading a weekend that needs it.
- Keep messages, files, and meeting notes inside the people the portal allows to see them.
- Do not try to open another person's account, probe the service, or bypass a permission.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have permission to share.
- Do not use the portal to harass anyone.
You can remove a message you sent. Removing it only marks the message deleted. The portal hides the text, and the text stays in the database until that record is actually deleted. An administrator can remove a file from the document library. Weekend roles and permissions are set by the community. A role in the portal does not by itself create an employment or agency relationship.
Your content
You keep whatever rights you already have in the text, files, and photos you submit. You give MTTD permission to store that material and to show it to the members the portal's permissions allow, for as long as we keep it under the Privacy Policy. That permission is limited to running the community. It is not a license for us to sell your content or to use it in advertising.
Meeting notes imported from Granola, Fireflies, or a file you upload become part of the weekend record. Import only notes you are allowed to bring into the community.
Donations
Middle Tennessee Tres Dias is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is supported by donations only. All money given through the portal, including any suggested weekend contribution, is a voluntary donation to MTTD. It is not a payment for goods or services, and the portal does not sell anything.
Donations made in the portal are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. MTTD does not store card numbers or bank account numbers. The portal can record whether a weekend donation was received and whether a scholarship was requested. If you give through Venmo, that donation happens on Venmo's site, under Venmo's terms, and a leader records it in the portal.
Donations are generally not refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at the address below and MTTD will decide on a refund at its discretion.
Whether a donation is tax-deductible depends on the law that applies to you. MTTD provides a donation receipt. We do not give tax advice; please ask your own tax adviser.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes the personal information the portal uses. Those terms are part of this agreement. Where a privacy law gives you a right these terms cannot take away, the privacy law controls.
The portal is provided as it is
To the extent permitted by law, the portal is provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep it accurate and available, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a purpose other than the community's own use. Weekend information is entered by members and leaders. Confirm important details with your rector or secretariat.
Some states and countries do not allow certain warranties to be disclaimed. In those places, this disclaimer applies only as far as the law allows, and any warranties that cannot be disclaimed last only as long as the law requires.
Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, Middle Tennessee Tres Dias and its volunteers and leaders are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill, arising out of your use of the portal or your inability to use it.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to the portal is limited to the greater of the amount you paid MTTD for portal access during the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars. Portal access itself is not a paid subscription. A weekend donation is a voluntary gift to a nonprofit ministry, not a purchase of software or of any other goods or services.
These limits are for the portal as a website and a record-keeping tool. They do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that the law says cannot be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, or in a US state that does not allow a particular limit, you keep every right that law says you cannot waive. Nothing in these terms asks you to waive those rights.
Disputes, Tennessee law, and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would apply another state's law. The state and federal courts located in Tennessee are the venue for disputes about the portal.
We do not require arbitration. We do not ask you to waive a jury, and we do not ask you to waive the right to participate in a class action. If a court later finds that a waiver of that kind is unenforceable, the rest of these terms still stand.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence, and you keep the mandatory protections of the law of that country. Tennessee law does not replace those protections. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, or a US state privacy law.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If a change is significant, we will also tell signed-in members by a notice in the portal or by email when we have an address. If you keep using the portal after the new date, you are agreeing to the updated terms, except where the law requires a clearer form of agreement. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
